The Nevada Basketball Officials
Camp in conjunction with the
Durango
HS Summer Shootout, will
be hosting their fourth
annual
referee basketball camp June 19th,
20th, & 21st, 2009
on the campus of
Durango High School
with all games being
played in the
main and aux gyms.
Purpose of the camp:
This camp is designed to teach and
prepare officials to work
high
school
varsity basketball
and beyond. Campers will be
observed and critiqued by
some of
the top high school and
college officials in the area.
You will be
observed and taught
proper high school mechanics,
positioning, game
management,
and
professionalism. Our goal is
to help your officiating
skills
and develop a greater understanding
of basketball rules and
officiating
philosophy.
Also, current SNOA Officials, this
is your opportunity to get
evaluated for this coming up
season.
Camp Features:
At least one (1) game on video tape with a
full review with
one of our
instructors after your
game is complete.
All games officiated in crews of
three officials and some two
man
mechanics, depending
on experience and area of focus.
Personalized written analysis &
feedback on each game
worked.
Daily classroom dialogue with camp
staff and observers.
Camp Specifics:
Tuition: $55.00
Camp dates are June 19, 20 & 21,
2009
Registrations
begin at 9:15-9:50am at Durango HS
GYM
on
Friday June 19, 2009.
Camp photo to follow at 10:00pm.
Dress will be black and white shirt
and ALL black shorts/shined shoes
and white
socks.
Registration will be limited to
first come first serve basis.
There are a limited
number of spots
available, so get your
registration
in early!!!
